About Us
I am the founder of this daycare. I am a certified early childhood educator and a mother. I established this daycare 16 years ago with a single mission: To make every child feel like they belong. At Nena's we don’t just raise kids—we help raise future leaders, creatives, and confident learners. Our dedicated team is certified by the State of Maryland and the Office of Child Care (OCC), bringing passion, skills, and love to children of all ages and backgrounds. We respect each family's beliefs and work to provide a safe, clean, loving environment where children thrive with a consistent daily routine that builds independence and self-confidence.

Personalized care and family environment
Our smaller groups mean more individualized attention for your child, ensuring they feel seen, valued, and understood.

Our inspiration, your child's success
Nena's Family Childcare was founded on a deep love for children, recognizing that early childhood is the crucial foundation for life. Our most important goal is to nurture the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. We strive for each child to feel safe, loved, and respected; build confidence and independence; develop strong communication and problem-solving skills; and learn through play, creativity, and hands-on exploration. We foster positive relationships, ensuring every child thrives at their own pace and grows into their unique self.
"Peace of mind for every parent"
Your child will receive genuine care, not just supervision. At Nena's Family Childcare, it's about creating a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, protected, seen, understood, encouraged to explore and grow, and most importantly, loved as family. Parents can feel secure knowing their child is part of a small, nurturing environment where their personality, needs, and development truly matter. Parents can go to work with peace of mind, knowing your child is happy, supported, and in good hands.
